Why Shoulder Pain Occurs
The main reason people get shoulder pain is due to poor muscle control of the shoulder blade, this usually looks like rounded shoulders causing an overly slouched position. With the shoulder blade pulled down and back we stand up much taller and put a lot less strain through the small muscles of the shoulder, meaning it can move more freely and won’t become sore doing day to day activities.
There are some common patterns of weak muscles that can lead to shoulder pain. Usually it is lower traps, serratus anterior, rhomboids or a combination. If one of these muscles becomes weak, pressure will build up in other muscles like your rotator cuff group or upper traps.
The key to long term shoulder health is to get rid of the pain, find the weakness causing the pain and strengthen it.
Common Causes of Shoulder Pain
Impingement, arthritis, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, neck pain referral, labral tear, stiff mid-back.

Techniques we use:
Step 1

Step 2
Get rid of the pain
Using a combination of techniques our goal is to get the pain under control so you can start strengthening your neck. Techniques include Chiropractic; Laser Therapy; Blood Flow Restriction, Massage; Dry Needling; Prologel for Nerve Pain.
Step 3
Make sure the pain doesn’t come back
You need to strengthen the weak muscles around your shoulder to make sure the pain doesn’t return. Once we have your pain under control we need to strengthen up the weak spots around your shoulder so that the muscle imbalance that caused the pain in the first place is fixed.
